283 th of unconsciousness. Within a short span of time, he returned home and was able to function normally. And my friend Guy also had good news to share. Ten months later, Guy invited me to the brit of his son, in the Sharon Hall in Jerusalem. May the merit of the Rav stand by all of those in need of a speedy recovery, wherever they may be, and may the sick of Israel be healed. This month Batiah came to the tomb in the month of Av, 2009, to pray for her daughter, Meirav. Meirav had been married already eight years, and yet still remained childless. And so, Batiah had but one request, as she stood sobbing while res- ting her head on the deep blue velvety cover over the Rav’s tombstone. Were that her daughter become pregnant and bear a son, one who would be religious. I also offered up a prayer, and said, “In the merit of the Rav, your daughter will become pregnant this month.” I asked her to inform me of the good tidings, when she would hear of them. A month and a half later, Batiah came, all the way from her hometown, Tiberias, to share with me the good news.
