282 Recuperation and expectancy My good friend, Guy Biasi, owner of a company which makes gravestones, was married for six years without child- ren. He actually was the one who prepared the monument for Harav Shmuel Darazi zt”l, right next to the Rav’s tomb. Often, Guy would vi- sit the Rav’s graveside and pray for his own needs. Once, though, he came for his uncle’s bene¿t. His uncle, D., had been laying uncons- cious for a month in the hospital, and so Guy used the opportunity to pray for his uncle, as- king me to bless him with a speedy recovery. At that juncture of time, I told Guy that we were in desperate need of Àuorescent lighting for the tomb, as we had just ¿nished putting up the roof. This would bene¿t all those who came to pray at the site. I told Guy how much it would cost, adding that were he to donate the same, I had no doubt that his uncle would recuperate and get back on his feet. Not only that, I promised him that he and his wife would be blessed with a son, in the merit of the Rav and his prize disciple Harav Darazi. Without giving a second thought, Guy paid the entire sum for the light ¿xtures. I gave him a blessing that his uncle would awaken the next day, and his wife would be expecting wit- hin the year, in the merit of the tzaddik.
