The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri
Tell them that the match was not made in Heaven 95 Traditional sources say that a person’s soul perceives for- ty days before they die that their passing is imminent. Such people may do or say things that forebode their ¿nal days on earth. This is exactly what happened with this couple. Naomi S. from (mmanuel relates how their mother approached her several days before her death, asking Naomi to see that her children would be taken care of by her family members, if something were to happen. Naomi herself had been through a life-threatening experience, and was pronounced clinically dead after an explosion occurred, several years before. Thus the mother of the four children felt that Naomi would take her words seriously, and not let her husbands family win custody of the children, should the need ever arise. And then came the fateful night. “After several days, this woman was killed, and I felt that her words were a message, her last will. Indeed, arguments broke out over the custody of the children. I turned to the Rav and asked him what I should do. Should I become involved, as the mother had asked me before her death? The Rav blessed me with success, saying that no obstacle would stand in my way. I left the house of the Rav and started to be involved, seeing won- ders all along the way. I found myself in many corridors that I have never been before. Some of the government of¿ces that were to decide the children’s fate were connected with the husband’s family. It looked like there was no hope. A cousin of the dead husband had a high position in the municipality. He could easily sway the decision of the courts. Regardless, after a small hearing, the decision was made to transfer custody to the family of the mother, to the shock of the husband’s family. We all were amazed at the power of the blessing of the Rav.”
