The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri

The teachers of the Rav The Rav told his family, that in his youth he learned Torah in Baghdad from Harav Shimon Mordechai Adjimi zt”l, who was a descendant of the Kabbalist Rabbi Sasson Mordechai Adjimi zt”l, author of the works, Mizmor Le’assaf and Kol Sasson . The name of the yeshiva he attended was called Yeshivat Chacham Yitzchak , named af- ter the head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Yitzchak Adjimi zt”l, also a descendant of Rabbi Sasson Adjimi. Harav Shimon Mordechai Adjimi would teach the students with tremendous patience and deliberation ( Keitz Hayamim p. 141) . Many of his students became well-known, erudite Rabbis, some eventually settling in Israel and heading famous institutions.
