The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri

272 The famous amulets I placed an amulet the Rav wrote under his head, a prayer that the Rav composed and a golden coin with the handwriting of the Rav for ‘a complete reco- very’ visible. I prayed, that in the merit of the Rav, this boy should be healed. I said aloud, May you have a com- plete recovery in merit of the Rav, and with G-ds help, arise from your sick- bed by this coming Sun- day and regain your full strength. Thos attending to the boy questioned me, “How could it be? Today is already Thurs- day? In three days time?” I answered them, “Is anything impossible to G-d? Just as G-d hea- led King Hezekiah from his sickness and the general of Aram, Naaman, from his, so too, in the merit of the Rav, this boy will stand on his feet by Sunday, with G-d’s help.” The next day, I offered up a prayer by the graveside for this boy, that he should get up from his sickbed and regain his strength. And so it was. The next Monday, towards evening, I received a telephone call. The boy himself called me to thank me. “I owe my life to you,” he said. “I have been home since yesterday.” I responded, “Not in my merit. Only in the Rav’s merit.” I trembled, as just four days ago he had been in critical condition, and now, with the help of G-d, he was speaking to me like a regular person. I couldn’t believe my ears. They called him Yitzchak Our sages have taught us that tzaddikim, even after death, are still consi- dered alive. Thus we attribute miracles to the Rav, even until today, as many people’s prayers are answered while praying at the tomb, in his merit. How often do we see women being blessed with children, a year after they, or their family members, came to the tomb on Har Hamenuchot and prayed for them. The following moving story of Mrs. Ch. from Lod, illustrates this point. Mrs.
