The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri
271 The wine which was blessed In this section, I hope to bring out wonders which took and take place at the tomb of the Rav, whose merit continues to effect miracles, as tzaddikim, “even in death are very much alive.” These stories are all true, not some ¿gment of imagina- tion or made up. The blessed wine “A year ago,” says Mr. Yaakov Shem Tov, “we arrived at the tomb of the Rav. We prayed to G-d, that with in the merit of the Rav, we should merit to marry off our three sons, all who were of age. We prayed that they ¿nd good girls, worthy and right for them.” After they offered up their prayers, they bought a bottle of wine, one with an inscription, ‘blessed from the tomb of Harav Yitzchak Kadouri zt”l.’Wit- hin three months, their son, Yehudah, found his partner, thank G-d. Under the chuppah, Mr. Shem Tov used the wine that he bought, but unfortunately he could not ¿nd the bottle after the ceremony. “We thought to our- selves, perhaps someone who was in des- perate need took the wine. May G-d accept his prayers and answer his needs,” added Mr. Shem Tov. Soon afterwards, the next two sons became engaged to their desti- ned partners and were wed, all within that same year. The amulet which affected wonders In Shevat, 2009, a month after the annual Hilulah of the Rav (held in the Achu- zah Hall in Jerusalem) , a woman frantically called me up. She had been present by the Hilulah , and asked if I could come immediately to the hospital, as her son was in critical condition. He had been shot several times in his chest. I arrived shortly, and a terrible sight met my eyes. A young man, severely bandaged, laid on a bed, while attached to life-support systems.
