The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri
179 Hatzaddik was a remnant from previous generations, from the Great Assembly. He used to say, on three things theworld stands; onTorah, on Divine service, and on loving kindness.” Harav Kadouri learned Torah and taught Torah. The Torah is waiting for us to learn. Let us remember, Rabbosei, to set aside speci¿c times every day for learning Torah. Divine service refers to prayer. The prayers of Harav Kadouri were virtuous and pure. He prayed according to the prayer book of the Rashash, according to the deep meditations of the Kabbalists. And loving kindness, how much did Harav Kadouri practice! How many sick people did he pray for, who afterwards recovered. There were ill people on the verge of death that the doctors gave up all hope, that there was nothing left to do except to recite their ¿nal confession, who turned to the Rav. They came to the tzaddik, who proceeded to pray for them, and they got up from their sickbed, like the resurrection of the dead. How many barren women merited having children through the inÀuence of the Rav’s amulets. There is no greater demonstration of loving kindness than these acts of good. May the Rav stand in prayer, along with all the other tzaddikim and righteous ones, and along with all those already in the next world, pleading that G-d should put an end to all of our suffering and bring the redemption soon. We should not anticipate anyone else except for the true Messiah. Our sages have said, “Prayer, repentance, and charity can remove the evil decree.” We have to increase our acts of good and turn our hearts to repent. Let us confess together, as one, saying we have sinned, transgressed, and rebelled. Master of the World, forgive us for our sins. In this merit, may G-d send the righteous Messiah and may we witness his coming and the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, speedily in our days, Amen. The eulogy of the Gaon Harav Shemuel Beniyahu shlita, Head of the Nahar Shalom Yeshiva for Kabbalists Our crown has fallen, woe is to us for we have sinned, alas for the Land of Israel who has lost a great man, that such perfection should wallow in the earth. Our master and teacher, Harav Yitzchak Kadouri, the valiant one, unique in his generation, the one whose glory is his, the Shemonah Shearim (a work of Kabbalah) etched into his heart. He was unique in our generation
