He took an almond, peeled it and wrote some words and handed it to her to eat. He then wrote for her an amulet and advised her on how to use it. He also told her to go and buy a copper tray and melt a candle on the tray, looking carefully at the molten wax for some sign to identify the person responsible for her state of being. She was to stay far away from whoever it was that was casting such evil upon her. At the end of her visit, she left the room and turned to her sister, stating how hungry she was. Her sister was shocked. For three months she could barely eat, and now she was asking for food! They bought the copper tray and melted the wax, as the Rav said, and she saw the face of a man she knew, appear in the melting wax. They listened to whatever the Rav told her to do. Within a short span of time, she regained her health and the pains subsided. She was now able to care for her little baby, as until now she had been incapacitated. She ended her story by saying, that since the Rav’s passing, she lights a candle every day in his memory.
