58 The chuppah was held in the afternoon hours at the Nahar Shalom Yeshiva (named after the great Kabbalist Harav Mordechai Sharabi zt”l) with a small quorum of men. The two honored witnesses (required by Jewish Law to observe the wedding ceremony) were Harav Be- nayahu Shemueli and Rav Aryeh Deri. A sheva berachot (a fes- tive meal culminating with the nuptial blessings) was arranged that night at the Ramada Renaissance Hotel, and was graced with the SUHVHQFH RI WKH IRUPHU &KLHI 5DEEL +DUDY 0RUGHFKDL (OL\DKX zt”l. He was honored to recite the blessings over the cup of wine.
