The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri

232 From this spot the Rav conveys the prayers of all Israel The inscription written by Harav Naim ben Eliyahu shlita The two contractors came every day to Jerusalem, for a pe- riod of two weeks. They worked diligently, with all their heart. They felt that it was to their merit to build the tomb of the Rav. Placing each stone with precision, polishing the surface of the marble, each act was done in a professional manner. I thought to myself, “Thank G-d, now the site is being built strictly by Jews, as the will of the tzaddik. I took the mistakes and defects of the ¿rst tombstone as a sign that the Rav would not have wanted it any other way. I photographed all the stages of the building with my own camera, as you can clearly see from the pictures in this book. We assembled a form of arch over the tombstone, joining the two graves as one. The etching on the stone was also done by Jewish labor, who did it with love and out of res- pect for the Rav, for the be- ne¿t of all those who come to visit this holy site.
