The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri
193 A tremendous loss to give his books to be bound by the Rav. Always, the books would be returned long after the time that it should have taken to bind them. He asked the Rav why it took so long, whereupon the Rav answered, “While I bind them, I learn from them, page by page, which takes time.” The Rav’s cautiousness with other people’s money was extraordinary, he hated taking advantage of others, and was straight and honest, through and through. We should accept upon ourselves to walk in his ways and learn from them, to be men of truth and live our lives by the ultimate standard of truth. We should act with love towards every Jew. May we only hear good tidings, and may we see the salvation of G-d, Amen. Harav Yehudah Adess shlita with his son Harav Yaakov Adess shlita (holding the microphone)
