The Wonders of Harav Yitzchack Kadouri

155 with hundreds of people huddling outside the hospitals walls in small groups, requesting to be admitted, in order to be near the Rav who had already ascended to the Heavenly realm. Less than an hour had passed, and the news had spread like wild¿re, with throngs of people making their way to the hospital. I stopped my car and made my way towards the hospital, trembling as I walked, hoping to be admitted somehow. Allowed entry In my capacity as a volunteer for helping families in need, I am well acquainted with the Bikur CholimHospital. I work for an organization called ‘Shaarei Malka,’ which helps orphans and widows, as well as hospitalized children in Jerusalem. I often distribute candies and treats to these children. Thus I knew the head of security, as she would arrange and authorize mine and my cohorts’ entrance during off-visiting hours. Without even my saying a word, she approached me and asked me, “Do you want to go inside and see Harav Kadouri?” It was as if the Rav was guiding my steps, allowing my entry, so that I could ask his forgiveness for any slight to his honor that I may have been responsible for. I was amazed at how the door opened for me, while the sound of those waiting to enter, saying, “Why him?” was heard behind my back. The head of security merely responded to the crowd who threatened to bang down the door, “Only Harav Malka and no one else.”
